Start saving your aluminum cans OBE! On October 1st, we're launching our Million (Aluminum) Cans Recycling Contest. We're one of only a handful of schools in the state of Florida participating. Every can helps support our school and helps the Earth. Rinse, crunch, and collect. We can't wait to see what our students can do!

Introducing a new club at OBE! We will be having an interest meeting on September 30th. The first meeting will be on October 28th and future meetings will be planned for the 4th Tuesday of the month after that. We are also looking for parent volunteers to join us. Volunteer must have a volunteer application on file. Permission slips and sign-outs went home last week. If you missed yours, please reach out to your child's teacher. We are officially halfway through the 1st quarter of the school year. Please take a moment to check your child's grades on FOCUS Parent Portal. Contact your child's teacher through the SRCSD app or e-mail if you have questions.

Please join us on Tuesday, September 9th at 9:00 am in the OBE library. All volunteers will need to attend and learn about school's code of conduct, policies, and procedures addressed by Administration and Guidance. PTO leadership will be there to present volunteer opportunities and current committee chair needs. Light breakfast spread will be provided.
