Although community services hours are not a graduation requirement, logged hours are a requirement for Bright Futures Scholarship and most scholarships. Community services hours are part of your high school transcript.

In addition, paid work hours (minimum of 100) are now accepted for the Bright Futures Scholarship. See log sheet for more details.

2024 Youth Conservation Corp at Gulf Islands National Seashore

Gulf Islands National Seashore is looking for local students (15-18 years old) to participate in their 8-week work program.

Program dates are June 3 - July 26, 2024

Upcoming Local Opportunities - Clubs or Individuals

Pensacon: Feb 23-25, 2024. Come join us for one of Pensacola’s biggest events event! You can volunteer for concessions or parking in a variety of shifts Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

Great Day of Service: Saturday, March 2, 8am-1pm. Teams go out and serve area agencies/ministries including Gulf Coast Kids House, Ronald McDonald House, Family Promise, Weekend, Feeding Kids, Milk and Honey and Embrace Florida Kids.  

Decorating Workshop: March 9 and April 13 Come help us create decorations and sets for our children’s Vacation Bible School.
